Chief Officer – Peter Prokopa
Having spent the last 13 years or so as Chief Officer for South Staffs LPC, I now work for Shropshire and Sandwell LPCs undertaking the same role. I have worked exclusively in community pharmacy since qualifying with Boots in 1983, then with Safeway, West Midlands Co-Op and a number of independent groups, latterly as Superintendent Pharmacist for Northwoods based in Penkridge, Staffs until 2010. I still work as a locum pharmacist one or two days per week.
At home my interests have largely been mainly sport-related, including cycling, walking, rugby, triathlon and football (following Notts County FC), but I enjoy travelling, cooking and gardening too. I also have a Ducati motorbike, although opportunity to ride that has been limited recently. I’ve been a Parish Councillor since 2019, and am currently Vice-Chair of Haughton Parish Council.
