Community Pharmacy Shropshire Vision:​

“To facilitate delivery and lead the development of high-quality community pharmacy services, maximising financial and professional opportunities for pharmacy contractors, resulting in safe and consistent delivery of services to improve the wellbeing and outcomes for the population of Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin”​

Community Pharmacy Shropshire Mission:​

• Ensure Community Pharmacy Shropshire’s structure supports vision, mission and purpose.​
• Influence Community Pharmacy England for the benefit of our contractors. ​
• Proactively support development of local, quality community pharmacy services to support the specific health needs of our population. ​
• Ensure adherence to clinical governance principals and compliance with regulations and ensure continuous quality improvement is built into all professional services. ​
• Secure effective engagement with all healthcare commissioners and stakeholders ensuring the right to be consulted on pharmacy matters. ​
• Facilitate closer working relationships between community pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that community pharmacy is fully integrated as a vital primary care delivery partner. ​
• Facilitate access to development and training for all contractors and pharmacy teams ​
• Develop an effective communication strategy with contractors, commissioners and public to continue to promote community pharmacy services. ​
